Associate, Wealth Advisory and Family Office ServicesI graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Financial Planning and decided early in college that I wanted a career focused on helping people make thoughtful financial decisions. I was drawn to personal finance because of the many ways planning, investing, and cash flow decisions shape people’s lives over time. I joined Fairway in 2021 as an Associate Wealth Manager and value the opportunity to support wealth managers and the Family Office team across a wide range of client needs.
In my role, I work closely with advisors to support financial planning and day-to-day client needs, including cash flow planning, portfolio management, and tax planning support. The most meaningful part of my work is face-to-face client interaction, building relationships, and working collaboratively as a team to help clients make informed financial decisions.
I joined Fairway in the midst of the global pandemic, which was an unusual time period that required flexibility and adaptability from the start. That experience reinforced the importance of communication and teamwork in serving clients effectively. I continue to build my knowledge and skills and stay engaged in the profession by attending events through the Financial Planning Association and Young Professionals of the Akron Community Foundation.
Outside of work, I enjoy just about any outdoor activity, spending time with friends and family, golfing, hiking, and attending concerts. I’m also an avid reader and was particularly influenced by The One-Page Financial Plan by Carl Richards, which helped shape how I think about aligning financial decisions with what truly matters to clients.
