WEALTH MANAGER/SENIOR WEALTH MANAGER

In this advisory role, you will have primary responsibility for delivering our integrated wealth management services for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients and families. Candidates may come from an accounting, brokerage, or money management background, but with our firm you will be delivering comprehensive advice, leadership, and open-architecture solutions, in collaboration with a service team. You will not be selling any financial products. Business development activities are expected and the ability to bring some existing book of business is desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage most day-to-day aspects of client relationships, as lead advisor and/or as a member of a client service team.
  • Develop, implement, and document clients overall integrated wealth plan (investments, tax, estate, risk management, general financial planning, etc.), with the assistance of dedicated advisory staff.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation of meeting materials, including agendas, planning analyses, and investment planning and reporting.
  • Draft summary emails following client meetings, clarifying understandings, and outlining next steps and action items.
  • Manage meeting follow up, including coordination of internal and external (e.g., CPA, estate planner, insurance agent) resources; responsible for ensuring all agreed upon action items are implemented or followed through on.
  • Initiate and respond to emails and phone calls (to/from clients and their advisory team) in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Actively participate in business development efforts, including building referral network, generating new prospect leads, and actively participating in internal growth committee and external prospect meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with CFP® and/or CPA; CFA, MBA, or JD a plus
  • 7+ years of client service and financial planning/investment advisory experience
  • Experience in leading and delivering service and advice directly to clients
  • Strong investment knowledge
  • Foundational tax knowledge and understanding of broad financial planning issues
  • Proven success in cultivating relationships and meeting business development goals

WEALTH MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE

Overview:

We are seeking a Wealth Management Associate to support our Wealth Managers in delivering our full range of wealth management services. The ideal candidate will have an Accounting, Finance, and/or Financial Planning undergraduate degree and will have or be pursuing CPA or CFP licensure. Prior work experience, preferably in an accounting firm, family office, or wealth management firm, with exposure to personal income tax returns is desirable.

This is a technical, client-service position responsible for the analytical work in developing comprehensive deliverables for our clients. This role involves a moderate degree of direct client contact as well as contact with clients’ other advisors such as attorneys, accountants, and insurance agents. Strong analytical and communication skills are required, as are strong computer skills in utilizing a variety of applications.

Duties include the following:

  • Preparation and analysis of long-range projections of changes in net worth and cash flows, including
    Monte Carlo analysis to assess feasibility of and progress toward specific client goals
  • Preparation of Net Worth statements and other financial planning worksheets focused on specific
    financial decisions, estate planning, investment analysis, insurance needs analysis, etc.
  • Preparation and analysis of investment portfolio reports
  • Preparation of income tax projections
  • Preparation of agendas and analyses for client meetings
  • Documenting notes from client meetings and writing of detailed follow-up emails from those meetings
  • Quarterly invoice preparation

CLIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Overview:

We seek a motivated, self-starting, passionate team player to join our client service and operations team in the role of Client Service Associate. This position will require the right individual to support the internal advisory teams as well as have direct contact with clients to help them manage their day-to-day operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of client and advisor requests including new accounts, transfer of assets, money movements, account maintenance
  • Provide excellent client service by performing tasks timely, accurately and with clear communication to the client and advisor
  • Demonstrate professional communication skills with responses to clients, advisors, and team members by phone, email, and written communications
  • Use problem solving skills to create solutions for clients and advisors
  • Coordinate with Schwab/Custodians and internal team members to follow up on and execute operational items in a timely manner
  • Monitor and resolve daily time sensitive activities
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management software, Salesforce, for documentation of client data and tasks
  • Operate in a team-based environment where teammates help each other in times of heavy workload and are all working toward meeting the needs of the client

Requirements and Competencies:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a client service role in the financial services industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication with a professional demeanor
  • Robust PC knowledge, typing skills and accuracy
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and requests from advisors and clients
  • Persistence in follow up to accomplish objectives
  • Positive frame of mind with a resilient attitude – team player

Preferred Skills/Experience:
