Mark Weiskind, CPA/PFS (inactive), CFP®

President, Partner, Wealth Advisory Services

Since co-founding Fairway in 2002, I have worn a variety of hats, and that continues today. I serve as our firm’s President and as Partner in our Wealth Advisory Services practice. I spend the majority of my time working directly with approximately fifty client families, many of whom I have served across multiple generations. I help clients understand their capacity to utilize the wealth they have created and manage the various aspects of their financial lives in the most tax-efficient manner possible.

Working with clients is the most meaningful part of my role. In addition, as President, I find increasing purpose in helping ensure that Fairway is well positioned to serve both our clients and our people in the decades ahead, while preserving the culture and high-touch service that define the firm.

Before co-founding Fairway, I spent nearly ten years at Deloitte & Touche, most recently as a Senior Manager in the private client group. I hold the CFP® certification and previously earned the CPA and PFS credentials.

Outside of Fairway, I am actively involved with the Jewish Community Federation and currently serve on its Retirement Investment Committee.

I currently reside in Pepper Pike, Ohio with my wife.  I stay active through tennis and golf, and also enjoy running, skiing, and riding the Peloton. I enjoy spending time with my two adult daughters, traveling, following Cleveland sports, reading, and binge-watching television. I have yet to develop a taste for coffee, so my morning beverage of choice remains a trusty Diet Coke.
