Bess Brown
Associate, Client Service and OperationsI received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Cincinnati, where I built strong relationships through my involvement in my sorority and Hillel, a Jewish student organization.
After graduating, I spent five years working as a full-time camp professional, building relationships with campers, staff, and parents at both day and overnight camps. That experience taught me how to problem solve, connect with others, and develop intentional goals. I found that many of those skills translated naturally to financial planning, and I have spent the past three years working in a client service role.
I joined Fairway in the fall of 2024 as a Client Service Associate. In my role, I support clients through the onboarding process, assist when funds need to be received or invested, and collaborate closely with the advisory team. In April of 2025, I passed the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional® (FPQP®) exam which gave me more insight to the planning and investment process, allowing me to better service our clients and support the advisory team. The most meaningful part of my work is connecting with clients to help ensure they have a strong plan in place.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking with my dog, baking sourdough chocolate chip cookies, and seeing shows at Playhouse Square.
