Kristen Kuzma, CFP®
My experience with Fairway has been the perfect opportunity to unite my passion for finance and mathematics with my love of working with people. I believe that good communication is the key to understanding my clients’ goals and risk tolerance. Combining our conversations and a technical analysis allows me to successfully manage each client’s investment portfolio, cash flow, tax, and estate planning needs.
I also work with several clients within Fairway’s Next Generation program, offering financial planning and support to young professionals who are ready to take the next step in securing their financial future. I believe it’s never too early to begin discussing finance and investment basics such as budgeting or getting started on retirement savings and am always inspired to start that conversation with my clients’ college aged or adult children.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, I take pride in acting in my clients’ best interest and maintaining the CFP Board’s high standards of competency and ethics. I’m a member of Fairway’s Investment Committee, working closely with the other members to uphold the firm’s investment objectives and policies. I previously served as the Pro-Bono chair of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Northeast Ohio Board of Directors, a non-profit volunteer organization that supports the financial planning profession and financial literacy. I continue to be an active member within the FPA as well as the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland.
In my spare time I enjoy volunteering for various non-profits and supporting and visiting Cleveland’s many museums. I live in Lakewood with my two cats, Peeps and Gus. If I’m not at home playing a board game or trying a new recipe in the kitchen, I’m likely at the Metroparks or catching a concert. Any time of day, I prefer a caffeine free herbal tea or a nice cool glass of filtered water.
