Ben Perelka

Associate, Investment Research

In the spring of 2025, I graduated from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Finance.

My interest in finance and serving others began in high school and has shaped my career path ever since. At Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, I served as CFO of Shya Coffee, a student-run nonprofit, where I developed an early appreciation for financial stewardship and purpose-driven work. I also spent four summers at Camp Carl, building meaningful relationships with staff, campers, and families, which reinforced my desire to pursue work that creates lasting value.

I joined Fairway in 2025, initially as a Wealth Management Intern during the summer, where I gained hands-on experience across advisory services and contributed to cross-departmental projects. I now work full time as an Associate in Fairway’s Investment Research Department. My role focuses on investment due diligence, portfolio management and construction, and supporting the advisory team in investment decision-making.

The most meaningful part of my work is being in a purpose-driven career, creating lasting value in the lives of our clients. I plan to pursue the CFP® certification as the next step in my professional development to continue strengthening the support I provide to our advisory team and clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and staying active through sports, including golf, soccer, pickleball, and volleyball. I also enjoy board games, movies, and pottery. My Christian faith is central to who I am and guides how I live and work.
